Rongoā Māori encompasses traditional Māori healing - drawing on the wisdom of tūpuna, the rongoā of our whenua, and the practices of karakia and mirimiri. At Tū Tonu Hauora, this kaupapa walks alongside Western medicine to support the whole person.

Rongoā Māori is a holistic healing practice that supports your tinana (body), hinengaro (mind), wairua (spirit), and whānau (family wellbeing). Mirimiri and romiromi are traditional hands-on therapies that help to release tension, ease pain, improve circulation, and restore balance within the body.
Each session is tailored to you and may include mirimiri, karakia, and kōrero to support not just physical healing, but emotional and spiritual wellbeing too.
